POSITION SUMMARY
Serve drinks to guests during functions.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Follow schedule for regular service and to accommodate special events.
  • Assist Head Bartender in creating drink recipes that are unique to the TDCC and updating the drink menu to make it as dynamic as possible.
  • Provide bar service to Banquet Servers.
  • Keep all bar areas exceptionally organized and clean: counter tops, shelving, sinks, storage, serving ware, glasses, tables, chairs, and coolers.
  • Run register.
  • Assist in collecting all cash drawer reports at the end of the night and balancing the bar books.
  • Assist with weekly, monthly and running inventories.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
LICENSES AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS 
  • Maryland's Beverage Education and Server Training (BEST) or RAM Maryland equivalent certificate in alcohol awareness.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1 year experience as a bartender in the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of food service and banquet service.
  • Communicate in English.
  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
  • Professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • Communicate well with guests.
  • Willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist or reach.
  • Push, pull or lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Continuous repetitive motions.
